Stan J. Bochnowski
Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer, Lakeside Bank

Stan is an Executive Vice President of Lakeside and also serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He is the Chief Lending Officer, responsible for oversight of all commercial and residential lending activities at the bank.

Stan joined Lakeside in 1983. He has a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and is a member of the Chicago Board of Realtors, Chicago Home Builders Association and Illinois Mortgage Banker Association. He also is a Director to the following organizations: Hong Kong Club, Valentine Boys & Girls Club of Chicago, Near South Planning Board, Southside Builders Association and the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce.

Alan Rose

Alan is responsible for marketing strategy, creative development and all communication at Lakeside Bank. He began working with the bank in 2015 and joined full-time in 2016. He is a globally experienced marketer who has led successful brand & business building campaigns across a wide range of industries. Alan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and a Masters from Northwestern.

Brian Specht
Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending

Brian Specht rejoined Lakeside Bank spring 2026. With us in the 2000’s, Brian was at American Community Bank of Indiana of Indiana for the past 13+ years as SVP, Commercial Lender and Credit Manager. He also supervised credit department operations and credit quality for the Bank. We’re glad to have you back, Brian!

Outside office hours, Brian is deeply involved in sports. He serves on the Western Golf Association, Indiana Board of Governors, as the State Chairman. And he’s a licensed varsity basketball official for the Indiana High School Athletic Association.

Brian also served on the Town of Munster, Indiana, Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.

He lives in Munster with his wife, Kathleen. He has three grown children and one granddaughter.

Todd Probasco

Todd Probasco was a third baseman. And dealt successfully with those constant challenges.

Third base is a great analogy for how Todd has approached his twenty-year career in the mortgage industry. He’s always assessing the field and finding ways to help his clients. With impressive speed and accuracy.

He’s been on the banking and the broker side of the mortgage business so he knows exactly how things work. In fact, he won the 2005 Illinois Mortgage Broker of the Year award!Todd joined Lakeside in 2017 to lead our team of Mortgage Loan Consultants … as well as continuing to help his own clients!
