Teller – Fulltime (Lakeview/Lincoln Park)

We are seeking to hire a Full Time Teller at our Lakeview/Lincoln Park location (2800 N. Ashland Ave.) for a variable schedule Monday through Saturday. The Teller will be responsible for receiving and paying out money, keeping records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions, building strong customer relationships and cross selling bank products/services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
  • Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
  • Enters customers’ transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
  • Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
  • Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer.
  • Explains, promotes, or sells products or services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of previous teller or cash handling experience; some PC experience necessary. Requires a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
